Planet Symphony for Environment

This first-of-its-kind 24 Hour non-stop Art Science Business Climate Confluence, jointly organized by Planet Symphony and IIT Mandi with the Govt of India’s Sangeet Natak Akademi as Cultural partners, aims to accomplish several things, some of which will be through follow up action:  

• GALVANISE One Billion High and Mid income citizens to be a part of Planet Symphony’s Collective Micro Climate Action Movement (CMCAM) to initiate simple but scientifically validated solutions like roof and land greening and rainwater management in their premises, besides conscious, sustainable consumption choices.
• GLOBALISE the need for Lifestyle Changes for the Environment. 
• EXPLORE cross-disciplinary partnerships among researchers, engineers and businesses and trans-disciplinary partnerships between science, art, thought and faith leaders, NGOs and the public
• ENGAGE with Government Leaders and Policymakers to incentivize Citizen Climate Action
• CREATE a Climate Literacy & Action Drive Fund (CLAD Fund) for underprivileged communities.
• INCREASE Climate Literacy through short films, productions, events for the environment, and engagement with mainstream and social media.
• ENCOURAGE technological and organic climate solutions to tackle macro issues, such as reducing over 40 Trillion Tonnes of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
• FORMULATE a series of Climate Action Recommendations (CAR) to be shared in COP and other appropriate forums.
• HIGHLIGHT climate champions and student climate innovators.
