Planet Symphony Climate Partnership

Planet Symphony for Environment aims to collaborate with Business leaders, philanthropists, charities, NGO, academic institutions as well as government agencies. PSE is setting up a Climate Literacy & Action Fund (CLAF) along with Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT) Mandi to address at least two essential Climate Imperatives: 

1. Climate literacy to inspire middle and high income group citizens and students to join Collective Micro Climate Action Movement (CMCAM) through Roof & Land Greening and Rainwater Management and Renewable Energy initiatives in their own premises.
2. Support to initiate climate solutions in underprivileged localities.

Corporate Partnerships

Businesses houses are best placed to be Climate Solution Facilitators in today’s society. They can do this in several ways:

1. Very Large Business Houses could adopt entire states or regions for Roof & Land Greening and installation of recharge Wells to maximise rainwater storage. Other Businesses can adopt areas feasible to them to implement the same.
2. Support large scale initiatives like Clean Energy for underprivileged communities and restoration of water bodies. 
3. Consumer Centric Businesses can put up Climate Solution messages in an eye-catching manner in every outlet of their shops like “Roof and Land Greening could cool your surroundings as well as your minds! Start today!!” OR “Harvest every drop of rainwater you can, do not rely only on Govt supplies.  Install at least one or two recharge wells in and outside your premises.”  This almost Zero-Cost option can also be emulated by individual businesses.
4. Sponsor Scientific Conferences, Cultural Events, publications or audio visual productions to raise climate literacy or raise funds for Climate Action. 
5. Film Houses and TV networks could play 30-45 second Climate Solution videos before or between their programs.
6. Directly donate monies to CLAF. 

Partnerships with Charities, NGOs, Philanthropists 

Partnerships with Government Agencies

While many world Governments are putting in mammoth efforts to combat the Climate Crisis, it is imperative for them to incentivise Citizen Climate Action too as this is a problem of the entire 8 Billion plus humans (not to mention other species). Planet Symphony is keen to engage with both politicians and policymakers to facilitate these in key areas so that a lot more is achieved with the active participation of even 25% of the earth’s population. 

Partnerships with Academic Institutions 

1. Academic Institutions right from Pre-Kindergarten levels can contribute immensely to both Climate Literacy and Climate Action and PSE is keen to initiate simple steps like “Each One Plant One” in collaboration with Schools and Colleges.
2. PSE and IIT Mandi are also initiating Climate Action Competitions and Climate Solution Hackathons to intensify student engagements.
3. PSE has been invited by several institutions in Climate Conferences intended to increase student awareness in these areas.
